If I’m ever in a hurry and don’t have time to think, my go-to outfit is always a tweed skirt and shirt. Tweed is my favorite fabric to wear in the fall and winter seasons! Today’s look is a pattern mix with the always classic black and white tweed and a striped button-down shirt. Chic and classy, this outfit is perfect for work, networking or a fun event (like an art gallery exhibition or a hot date!) We’ve had a sunny week so far in Dallas, so, of course, I had to add a pair of sunnies to top this outfit off!
This time of year, gray skies are quite the norm! What’s the perfect pick-me-up (besides a hot cup of tea, of course)? A bright and happy color coat to warm my heart and my body! I am beyond obsessed this season with this J.Crew parka, it’s cozy and stylish too! Of course, what better to pair this look with than a fair isle sweater. It just feels like winter (but in a good way) all snuggled up in this casual delight of an outfit!
Prep or preppy style was originally created by the uniforms that students wore at preparatory school. Over time, it evolved to different subsets, some looks with more colors and patterns and other looks with more classic and conservative vibes. Today’s look is back to where it all began, my favorite style – the classic prep school outfit!
Fit and flare skirts and dresses are one of my favorite silhouettes! This coat is a feminine little number, featuring a pretty shade of fuschia – the perfect shade of winter pink! The dressy style of the coat is super fun and feminine! Paired with the bright pop of pink and purple, I’m wearing windowpane pants and a vintage layered sweater with a collared shirt. The ankle boots are the cutest with the silver sparkly heel detail. The silver coordinates perfectly with the infinity scarf. The vibrant, warm colors brighten up any winter day!
Camel is such a beautiful color for fall and winter! It pairs well with both lighter and darker colors! This outfit has a bit of both with the cream sweater twinset and navy skinny pants. In some outfits, I like to mix patterns and wear colorful, vibrant vibes – but this look is a classic and minimal outfit. Feminine and chic, I could wear this outfit to work or coffee or even happy hour! Capes are fun and this one is my absolute favorite in my closet! The best part of this outfit is the peep-toe boots, keep scrolling to take a peek.
It’s that time of year again! Between two seasons, I’m wearing the colors and layers for fall – although, it feels like after Thanksgiving we are more in winter than the autumn season! I love the Dallas weather year-round! Even though it’s November, I can still get away with a jacket and a button-up shirt. The colors in this outfit are so perfect for fall – from the field jacket to the loafers!
