My go-to casual outfit: a casual piece sweetly paired with something dressy. A button-up shirt, trousers, and some sneakers! I’m just kickin’ it this weekend, enjoying the Dallas sunshine. This chic and classy look is perfect for running errands, a quick lunch, or a walk in the park! I haven’t yet gotten my puppy, but when I do – this is the perfect outfit for a going on a walk. Instead of neck candy today, I opted for some arm candy to switch it up!
This floral skirt is a dream. But this floral skirt with a striped top is a dream come true! I am so excited for spring (the weather getting and staying warm is a special treat)! This outfit is the perfect look, all I’m missing is some balloons to provide some magic! I love feeling dainty and feminine, whether I’m going for casual or dressy vibes – and this outfit is an inspiration that is girly and flirty all in one! This spring, I’m loving florals! What are you loving?
I love mixing dressy pieces with casual items to make the perfect laid back look! Today is no different with this nautical striped shirt and gold tweed skirt. I added a denim jacket layer to fend off cool breezes, and this outfit is set! A little sparkle with a statement necklace for some added glam and a pair of New Balance sneakers – to propose the question, is this a dressed up look or casual? I vote casual, I wouldn’t exactly wear this outfit to work – but it’s perfect for weekends on the town, brunching, shopping, and living it up.
I’m green with envy on the blog today! There are so many pretty shades of this color, but lately I’ve been loving this spring green look. These have been my go-to jeans the past couple of weeks, and for good reason! So versatile and comfy! I’m a bit more casual today, but from time to time, I like to mix it up! Stripes round out this classic look to add a punch of print and color variety to the denim on top and bottom. I’m totally loving the sunnies too, the neon shade is much needed to complete this look going green.
And just as the weather decides what it wants to do, 90 degrees one day and 35 the next… I’ll keep on keeping on! And as long as I can flounce around Dallas in this gorgeous bell sleeved blouse, I’m happy as can be! I know spring is coming up soon, so my clothing color palette has gotten lighter and brighter – hence this A-line tan skirt. This outfit is easy, breezy and totally chic! Do I look like I’m dressed for work, happy hour, brunch, or church? I’ll have you know this versatile look is perfect for all four occasions! Looking for a dynamic duo you can grab from your closet? Grab this Lizna blouse, and you’ll be set for crafting several polished and pretty outfits, for every occasion!
A touch of print here, a pop of color there. One truly preppy print I always seem to come back around to is plaid. It’s fun in every article of clothing or accessory, from bags to pants to handbags to headbands! Today’s look a red jersey dress, that would typically be a fancy look with a pair of pumps. Instead of dressing it up, I chose to make it casual – with sneakers and a plaid button-down. I even put on a denim jacket for a nice, little twist to the look!
They say twice is nice, and it most certainly is true when it comes to New York Fashion Week! My first NYFW experience was in February 2016, this past weekend was round two – and it was an absolutely amazing time! Read the blog post to see my favorite designers, the best coffee shop in Manhattan, and a new friend I made in the Big Apple!
Prints and patterns and colors, oh my! I’m not a fan of winter weather, but I’ve been told by many that their favorite part of the cold is layering up. Well, today’s outfit is a few layers with different patterns for a fun, inspiring casual preppy look! Along with this outfit is one of my current obsessions, a logo ball cap by Belle Meade Proper, an equestrian fashion brand that I’m totally digging these days! See more of my look in this post!
